Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the warehouse team, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of orders, maintaining inventory accuracy, and upholding safety standards. The Warehouse Manager will work closely with other departments to ensure efficient operations and delivery schedules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and maintain stock levels to meet demand.
- Coordinate and optimize warehouse layout to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Monitor and improve processes to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and streamline operations.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Maintain and prepare regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and team progress.
- Collaborate with staff to do order prediction and fulfillment always ensuring adequate store stock.
- Handle and resolve any warehouse-related issues or challenges that may arise.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or similar roles.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and motivate a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of inventory management systems and warehouse software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Forklift certification preferred (or willing to obtain).
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Bilingual preferred.
- Valid/current TX drivers license.
